Our Mission
The Red Cross Society of Mongolia (MRCS) is a humanitarian organization that helps people and communities affected by emergencies, disasters, poverty, and other difficult situations. It is part of the international Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and works across Mongolia. They have around 250,000 members.
The organization provides disaster response and preparedness, first aid training, health support, blood related services, and assistance to vulnerable people. It also helps communities prepare for harsh weather and natural disasters such as dzud, floods, and fires.
Our club aims to equip BSU students with essential first-aid and basic life support skills while encouraging them to become impactful and responsible volunteers. We also aim to connect students with BSU alumni and the Red Cross alumni network in Mongolia, creating valuable volunteering and networking opportunities that can strengthen their future CVs. Additionally, the club will organise charity drives and fundraising events, with the money raised donated to people and communities in need.
